Job summary

Nucor is seeking a Driver I to safely operate a roll-off truck, load and unload materials, and support daily plant operations. You will monitor and maintain equipment, keep a clean work area, and collaborate with teammates to meet production goals.

The role requires experience in industrial/outdoor settings, the ability to drive equipment under varying conditions, and reliable attendance. Shift is 5:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. on a 4-on/4-off cycle, with weekly pay, bonuses, and strong benefits.

The Driver I role supports safe and efficient operations by operating a roll-off truck to load and unload materials and assisting with general yard and production activities. This role also helps monitor, clean, and inspect plant production equipment, maintains a clean work area, and works closely with teammates to support daily operations.

Duties of the role include but are not limited to:

• Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Operate a roll-off truck to load and unload materials.
• Work a 1st shift schedule of 5:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. on a 4 days on, 4 days off rotation.
• Monitor, clean, and inspect plant production equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Assist other teammates as needed.
• Perform cleanup and other duties as assigned by management.

What We're Looking For:

Required:

• Experience working in an industrial or outdoor environment.
• Ability to drive equipment under varying working conditions.
• Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
• Reliable and dependable attendance.

Preferred:

• Experience driving a straight truck, roll-off truck, or box truck.
• Commercial Driver License (CDL).
