Job summary

Campbell Soup Company in Seattle, WA is seeking a seasonal Operations Assistant to support truck and trailer operations at the plant. The role involves coordinating dump orders, directing tomato trucks, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

You'll work with weigh masters, inspectors, and plant staff, with training beginning in June and season running July through mid-October. Prior Excel/Word/SAP familiarity is helpful; Spanish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Computer literacy in Excel, Word, SAP/STO.
• Spanish language skills are helpful.
• Strong communication with plant management and peers.
• Experience in plant environments and moving equipment.
• Ability to walk on uneven, wet surfaces and in loud plant conditions.

Responsibilities

• Sequence dump orders for truck loads.
• Direct tomato trucks within the plant.
• Manage trailer storage for full and empty trailers.
• Monitor paste tomato quality.
• Coordinate with weigh masters, state inspectors, and QA staff.
• Support supervisor with additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Sequencing the dump order of truck loads
• Directing tomato trucks within the plant
• Managing trailer storage for full and empty trailers
• Monitoring paste tomato quality
• Working with weigh masters, state inspectors, Quality Lab personnel, and various plant staff under the direction of Field Operations
• Performing any other duties assigned by supervisor
• Working overtime and shift work flexibility
• Completing the season from early July through mid October (training starts June)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Computer literacy in Excel, Word, SAP/STO
• Bilingual in Spanish (helpful)
• Strong communication with Plant Management and peers
• Experience working inside/outside plant environments
• Ability to walk on uneven and wet surfaces, around moving trucks/forklifts, and in loud plant conditions
• Must wear personal protective equipment: non‑skid shoes, hearing protection, protective eyewear, gloves, hair nets/beard nets (as needed) to protect food product
