Position Summary

The Yard Attendant maintains a neat, clean, and orderly yard/storage lot, along with boat, trailer, motor, and ATV displays, ensuring timely retrieval of products. Responsibilities include transporting units within the department or dealership and staging units for shipment.

Essential Functions

• Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Operate forklifts or tractors to unload incoming boats, motors, trailers, and ATVs, transporting them to designated areas.
• Verify packing lists or invoices for all deliveries.
• Arrange for transport and staging of boats for service, rigging, and detailing.
• Load and stage outgoing units for customer pick-up.
• Check rigged units for accuracy, including paperwork, serial numbers, and accessories.
• Assist in washing and vacuuming units as needed.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.

Skills and Abilities

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to establish positive working relationships.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
