Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
• Ability to be certified to operate a forklift and other material handling devices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Warehouse environment can expose temperature fluctuations, noise, dust, and uneven walking surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting customers throughout the yard and ensuring service quality.
• Maintain merchandise presentation standards in the yard and surrounding work areas.
• Ensure displayed merchandise is seasonally relevant, properly secured, and well represented.
• Maintain backroom locator accuracy within the yard area.
• Wrap and store yard merchandise to prevent weather damage.
• Load correct merchandise into customers’ vehicles while following safety guidelines.
• Replenish stock with sale and promotional items during operating hours.
• Transport product safely throughout the facility using forklift or other equipment.
• Cull lumber per company guidelines and maintain knowledge of product placement to assist customers.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty programs and other initiatives.
