Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Porter/Yard Worker to station and retrieve equipment on-site, maintain maintenance schedules, and service equipment to meet specifications. The role also requires inspecting gear before and after rental and documenting any losses or damages.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, experience with common tools, and basic repair training. Strong communication, basic math, and MS Office skills are beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• The Yard Associate is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property.
• Maintains a written maintenance schedule and may service equipment as necessary to ensure equipment meets all set specifications.
• Inspects equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost and/or damaged equipment.
