Job summary

84 Lumber is hiring for a Yard Person in a hands-on role at our facility. You will build loads for delivery, load and unload lumber and building supplies, and operate a forklift to move materials within a busy lumber yard.

The position requires reading and following simple instructions, plus the ability to maintain a clean, safe yard and report delays or discrepancies to management. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Can follow simple one- or two-step instructions and handle standard situations.

This role is responsible for building loads for deliveries. In addition, the Yard Person Benefits must maintain a safe, clean and well organized lumber yard, load and unload lumber and/or building supplies, and operate a forklift. Other duties as assigned.

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
