Heritage Family of Companies seeks a full-time Yard Associate to support daily yard and warehouse operations in Windsor, CA. You will handle receiving, stocking, and organizing materials while ensuring safety and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, order verification, and teamwork to meet delivery deadlines; prior yard/warehouse experience is preferred. Starting pay up to $28/hour with benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to lift and handle freight up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
• Experience operating front end loader or large machinery is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Background and drug screening required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Heritage Family of Companies is seeking a Full-time Yard Associate who will be responsible for supporting daily yard and warehouse operations, including material receiving, stocking, and organization, while adhering to safety standards and providing excellent customer service. _ *Up to $28 an hour _ (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Move, stock, and organize products in yard and warehouse to keep inventory accurate and easy to find.
• Load/unload materials from customer and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment while following all safety rules.
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
• Must follow all safety guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and using proper lifting techniques.
• Check/verify orders, complete shipping & receiving paperwork, and work with team members to meet delivery deadlines.
• Assist with other warehouse or yard tasks as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability and to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds continuously throughout the workday.
• Ability to move heavy products in busy warehouses and/or outdoor yards, using equipment such as forklifts, front end loader or pallet jacks, and involves active physical work.
• Work performed in an outdoor setting/warehouse environment in conditions like noise, hot or cold temperatures

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
• Experience loading operating a front end loader or other large construction machinery is a plus
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
• Prior experience in hands-on, outdoor/indoor yard/warehouse, operational work or similar environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent of education and experience
• Must pass background screening and drug screening.

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $19.00 to $23.94 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. SRS Distribution offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs. Depending on the role, associates may also be eligible for performance-based bonus programs, commissions, car allowance or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
