Job summary

ASCO Equipment Inc. in Amarillo, TX seeks a Yard Associate to support branch operations by performing a variety of manual tasks in the yard.

You will assist mechanics, sales staff, and other personnel while greeting customers and handling inquiries in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include safe yard practices, checking customers in and out, helping with deliveries and wash bay duties, coordinating with departments, and keeping machines correctly located and tagged.

• Assist with drivers loading and unloading
• Machine inspections inbound and outbound units
• Ensure machines are in the correct location and tagged
• Communicate with all departments as a team for better Customer service
• Responsible for Yard maintenance
• Be self motivated
• Must be able to work in all Texas weather conditions
• Assist with small deliveries
• Assist with wash bay duties for service and sales departments

Job description

At ASCO Equipment, our Yard Associates will Perform a variety of manual tasks in the yard in support of the entire branch operation. The primary objective is to provide labor assistance to mechanics, sales staff, and other branch personnel in order to meet the needs of customers. They will also help greet customers and assist with customer inquiries. Occasionally, will help out with delivery’s when needed by branch personnel.

• See that machines are in the correct location, taggedwith Ready green cards, or Red tagged for down machines
