Job summary

Stripe-A-Zone, LLC, a Frontline Road Safety Group company, is hiring for a full-time yard and warehouse laborer in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. The role emphasizes safe operation of equipment, loading/unloading goods, and delivering within the metroplex.

The position requires a valid driver's license, clean MVR, and at least one year of forklift experience. Drug screening is required and safety policies must be followed.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and Clean MVR.
• Able to pass urine drug analysis.
• At least one year of forklift operator experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering, moving, loading, and unloading a variety of goods in the yard and warehouse.
• Operates yard trucks and trailers safely and efficiently. Effectively manages traffic congestion on company property. Provides spotting duties for other operators.
• Performs general yard and warehouse clean-up and maintenance - including bathrooms and common areas.
• Loads product for shipping and breaks down all materials including pallets for goods received.
• Inspects incoming and outgoing products for damages and/or count discrepancies. Reports count discrepancies for resolution.
• Receives, counts, and records shipment data into company software.
• Prepares packages and merchandise for storage and delivery.
• Delivers goods and equipment within the metroplex area.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures. Completes all other duties as assigned.

Overview

This position is responsible for providing safe and efficient functions within the yard and warehouse including operating equipment, loading, and unloading product. Will complete standard receiving and shipping processes, including count and limited inventory functions. Completes delivery and pick up of goods and supplies as needed.

Working Conditions

• Regularly required to stand/walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop; and kneel, crouch or crawl.


• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.


• Occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.


• Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; moving equipment and machinery parts; moving traffic, and fumes and airborne particles.


• Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate/loud.
