Qualifications

  • Proficiency in outboard troubleshooting and repairs, especially Yamaha engines.
  • Must possess proper tools and certifications, including forklift training.

Job description

Applicant must have proficiency and training in all aspects of outboard troubleshooting and repairs, including but not limited to:

  1. Mounting and rigging of all major outboard brands.
  2. Diagnose and repair all Yamaha outboards, both conventional and D.E.C engines.
  3. Proficient in the use of computer diagnostic tools.
  4. Proficient in the installation and repair of vessels 12v DC systems.
  5. Proficient in the installation and repair of outboard hydraulic steering systems.
  6. Must have the proper tools to perform the trade. (Specialty tools provided by PYM).
  7. Certifications from Yamaha as a Master Technician for minimum three (3) years.
  8. Forklift driving and training.
  9. Taking classes or courses as needed to advance your training.
  10. Inventory control of the materials used for your job description.
  11. Keeping your work area clean and presentably daily.
  12. Training and guiding apprentices.

Pay and Benefits:

  1. Hourly wage appropriate for experience and training.
  2. Paid Holidays after 90 day trial period.
  3. Paid vacation after one (1) years continuous employment.
  4. Paid training available.
  5. Initial 90 day and annual reviews.

Work hours and work address:

8:00am – 4:30pm Monday-Friday.
Lunch 12:00-12:30
Saturdays optional.
