Job summary

Engineered Yacht Solutions in Fort Lauderdale seeks a highly experienced Fabrication Manager to lead our structural fabrication department on yachts. The role blends shop-floor leadership with planning, mentoring welders, fabricators, and fitters to hit schedule, quality, and budget targets.

You will review drawings, ensure classification society standards, coordinate with project managers and naval architects, and drive continuous improvement in safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on structural fabrication experience in a marine environment.
• 5+ years in yacht repair and refit, superyacht experience (40 m+) preferred.
• 5 years leadership experience leading fabrication crews.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all structural fabrication activities including steel and aluminum welding, forming, cutting, fitting, and finishing.
• Lead and manage a team of welders, fabricators, and fitters; assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Review engineering drawings, structural specs, and survey reports to plan fabrication scopes.
