Job Summary

As part of the NFP Yacht Team, you will engage with clients daily, developing relationships with clients and carriers. Your responsibilities include preparing applications, marketing strategies, managing renewals, and handling a book of business, including large, complex accounts. This role offers growth opportunities within our expanding yacht practice.

This is a full-time position based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, with a hybrid schedule. Remote work may be considered for highly qualified candidates with yacht insurance experience, who can occasionally report to the office or attend events in FL. Must have expertise in High-Net-Worth Yacht insurance coverage and work on Eastern Time.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage and grow an existing yacht insurance portfolio.
  2. Negotiate terms, conditions, coverage, and pricing with carriers and wholesalers.
  3. Contribute to division growth by being a reliable team member.
  4. Build and nurture relationships within the NFP network.
  5. Maintain accurate documentation and manage risk changes.
  6. Build strong relationships with clients and carriers through regular contact.
  7. Participate in industry events as required.
Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of yacht insurance terms, coverage, and policies.
  • Experience in Personal Lines/High-Net-Worth accounts, managing yacht-specific books.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to make independent, sound decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional demeanor and customer service orientation.
Education & Experience
  • BA/BS preferred; HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Over 5 years of industry experience, specifically in yacht insurance.
  • Experience with EPIC or similar systems preferred.
Licenses
  • Property & Casualty Broker's License required upon hire.
