Job summary

YMCA of Central Stark County is seeking a Part-time Youth Program Specialist who can run Youth and Family Programs throughout Stark County.

Shifts are after school and evenings (2:30-7), with 10-15 hours per week. Pay rate is $13.80 per hour. CPR/AED certification is preferred, but training will be provided. The role emphasizes youth development and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Excellent people skills with a focus on youth development.
• CPR and AED certification preferred, but will provide.
• Ability to relate to diverse groups from all social and economic backgrounds.
• Experience with youth preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Create and facilitate events for children that are age and Y appropriate.
• Clean and organize during and after shifts.
• Interact with children, families and other guests.
• Represent good character.
