TPG is seeking a Data Analytics & Reporting Research Assistant to support the DARL team with sustainability analytics projects, including dashboards, automating reports, and data improvements. The internship covers emissions accounting, regulatory reporting, climate risk assessment, and LP engagement support, running January through May 2027, at $22.5/hour for 20 hours per week in New Hampshire.

This role is housed within TPG's Y Analytics/ DARL function and offers exposure to core ESG data

Competenze

• Graduate student or advanced undergraduate.
• Excellent data analytics skills, including Excel and at least one other tool (Python, SQL, R).
• Advanced data visualization experience with dashboard tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, Sigma, Streamlit).
• Experience or interest in responsible investing, corporate sustainability, climate or related field.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and urgency; strong work ethic and communication in English.

Description of Position

Y Analytics is seeking a Data Analytics & Reporting Research Assistant to support our Data, Analytics, Reporting, and LP Engagement (DARL) team with special sustainability analytics projects, including creating new dashboards, automating reporting processes, and other data-focused process/program improvements. The Research Assistant will also support TPG’s recurring firm-wide sustainability analytics and reporting initiatives, including emissions accounting, regulatory reporting, physical climate risk assessment, and LP engagement support.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Employment-based immigration sponsorship is not available for this position
• Must be located in one of the following states during the internship: AZ, CA, DC, FL, GA, IL, NJ, NY, TN, TX, VA, WI, AR, CO, IN, KY, LA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NE, NH, NC, OH, PA, SC, UT, WA, WY
• Graduate student or advanced undergraduate (i.e. student entering their final year of undergraduate studies)
• Excellent data analytics skills, including facility with Microsoft Excel and preferably one or more other statistical tool(s) (e.g., VBA, Python, R, SQL)
• Advanced data visualization experience, including the use of one or more dashboarding tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, Sigma, Streamlit)
• Experience or demonstrated interest in responsible investing, corporate social responsibility, climate/sustainability, or a related field
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload with attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a strong work ethic and dedication to consistently provide quality work
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, and fluency in English

• Compensation : $22.5/hour
• Time Commitment: 20hours per week
