United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) in San Antonio, Texas, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures. The role involves operating radiographic equipment, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining quality control.
Qualified candidates will have a graduate degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology school and a minimum of one year experience. Required certifications include Texas State registration and ARRT within one year post-graduation. Shift work includes weekends and variable hours.
Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.
Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Shift: Weekend and Weekdays; Hours: Variable between 8am to 5pm
Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Minimum Experience: 1 year in diagnostic radiography
Required Certifications/Licensure: Possession of current Texas State registration. Possession of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, in Radiography or registry eligible. Must have ARRT within one year post graduation of accredited school
Required Courses/Completions (e.g., CPR): BLS-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network
