United Surgical Partners International in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include operating radiographic equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures, and maintaining quality control of equipment.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience, possess current Texas State registration, and ARRT certification within a year of graduation from an accredited program. Shift availability is required on weekends and weekdays, with variable hours between 8 AM and 5 PM.
Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.
Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Shift: Weekend and Weekdays. Hours: Variable between 8am to 5pm.
Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Minimum Experience: 1 year in diagnostic radiography.
Required Certifications/License: Possession of current Texas State registration. Possession of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, in Radiography or registry eligible. Must have ARRT within one year post graduation of accredited school.
Required Courses/Completions (e.g., CPR): BLS-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.
