We are seeking skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and care. At OrthoAlliance, our Radiologic Technologist play a crucial role on the team, delivering top-notch imaging services to enhance patient outcomes.

Position Summary:

Responsible for assisting physicians in patient care, performing all necessary x-rays, with a high degree of quality, and escorting patients to rooms.

Position Responsibilities/Standards:

General
  • Attend department, clinic or company meetings as required
  • Demonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concerns
  • Consistently work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow staff members.
  • Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary.
  • Attend required annual in-service program and/or required CEU’s
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all company policies and procedures.
  • Consistently demonstrate attention to detail in documentation, recording and patient information.
  • Adheres to established facility safety requirements and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Identifies potentially unsafe situations and notifies supervisor.
Specific Duties:
  • Perform imaging exams according to protocol
  • Escort patients back to exam rooms
  • Ensure equipment is maintained properly
Additional Duties:
  • Travel to satellite offices as necessary
  • Schedule will change as department needs change, including overtime and Saturday rotations
Knowledge:
  • Knowledge in Radiology procedures and protocols
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology necessary to perform x-rays
  • Knowledge of radiology equipment including safety hazards
  • Knowledge of electronic health records and Practice Management Systems
Education/Experience Required:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
  • Active ARRT certification required
  • State specific license required
Performance Requirements:

Physical:

Physical requirements for the position include the ability to frequently hear and communicate orally, see up close and at a distance, read and comprehend, stand, sit, walk, reach, handle, and/or feel objects. Must be able to climb, pull, push and kneel. Maximum unassisted lift = 50 lbs. Average lift 25-50 lbs.
