Job highlights & Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited X-ray Technologist program
• 4-6 months experience as an X-ray Technologist
• Explain, process, and position patients for X-ray; adjust restriction devices; operate equipment to set exposure factors
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail & ability to work independently
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with various computer systems
• Positive attitude and compassionate approach
• Ability to lift light to moderate weights (e.g., supplies)

Responsibilities & Job duties include:

• Taking high-quality X-ray images following site protocols efficiently
• Documenting encounters accurately into the EMR in a timely manner
• Performing common X-ray studies within suggested timeframes
• Managing materials for image copies and informing relevant staff before depletion
• Maintaining an up-to-date QA log book, including pregnancy forms and daily checklists
• Providing compassionate patient care
• Assisting with facility stocking as needed
