At University Health, our Radiologic Technologists play a critical role in delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate diagnostic care to our diverse patient community. Whether in trauma, outpatient, or routine diagnostics, your skill in medical imaging directly supports life-saving clinical decisions.
Your Role:
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using state-of-the-art radiologic equipment
Ensure image quality and patient comfort during every procedure
Complete all aspects of exam workflow including room prep, patient positioning, and documentation
Communicate clearly with patients and staff to explain procedures and address concerns
Work under the guidance of lead technologists and supervisors, with growing autonomy over time
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Registry-eligible or registered with ARRT; must pass certification within 6 months of graduation
Maintain CPR certification as a condition of continued employment
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist in patient movement
Proficiency with computer systems for image and patient data entry
Ability to work with patients of all ages
Career Advancement:
Technologists are encouraged to pursue advanced certification and may be eligible for promotion to Senior Specialized Technologist after achieving credentials in:
CT (Computed Tomography)
MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
Mammography
