XPLE Underground Transmission Line Construction Manager

POWER Engineers, a member of WSP, is seeking a temporary XPLE Underground Transmission Line Construction Manager for our PCI Construction CM Inspection Department. This is a remote position with fieldwork located throughout the West Coast region.

Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:

• Verify that the contractor completes work according to specifications and drawings.
• Manage construction activities, including verification of construction, change orders, and schedule management.
• Perform outdoor work in various weather conditions, including wind, rain, sun, and heat.
• Stand for long periods and walk over rough and uneven terrain.

Required Education/Experience

• Extensive travel and field experience are required.
• 15+ years of active field experience in all phases of construction.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Word and Excel, for reporting and documentation.

Desired Education/Experience

• Experience in installation or oversight of cross-linked polyethylene (XPLE) cable systems.
• Experience with cable pulling, splicing, pumping plants, and XPLE pipe installation and testing.

Base salary range: $125,000 - $150,000 per year. Salaries are determined based on experience, skills, and education and do not include additional compensation such as bonuses or benefits.
