Position Details

• Weekly Hours: 35-37.5 hours
• Grade Levels: K-12, with caseloads typically including elementary through high school
• Caseload Size: 40-60 students
• Delivery Format: Virtual classroom interpretation and support
• Key Focus Areas: Academic access, social communication, inclusive education support

Core Responsibilities

• Provide clear, accurate sign language interpretation during live virtual lessons
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and families in an online setting
• Support students' social and academic language needs via remote platforms
• Assist in virtual meetings and team collaborations related to student learning
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all professional standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3.5 EIPA score (required)
• Preferred 4.0 EIPA and written EIPA certifications
• RID/NIC certification with written test preferred
• At least 2 years of experience working in educational settings
• Proficiency with virtual platforms and remote communication tools
