Job summary

Avnet is seeking an AMD Xilinx dedicated Field Application Engineer to join the technical sales team, leading hardware and software discussions for customer systems and focusing on SoC technologies, pre- and post-sale support.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of FPGA/SoC design tools experience (Vivado/Vitis, ISE, Quartus) with strong system-level knowledge, and will build trusted advisor relationships with engineers and drive design-win strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in technical sales related to FPGA/SoC.
• Strong system-level understanding and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical sales initiatives for AMD Xilinx-focused customers.
• Provide technical leadership on Xilinx IP, software tools, and hardware.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key engineers and architects.
• Create and deliver technical proposals and design win strategies.
