Job Summary

Responsible for the promotion and sale of Comcast products and services including video, high-speed Internet, voice, and XFINITY Home. This role focuses on individual sales to single-family units and sales to multiple dwelling units through relationships with property management. Utilizes advanced knowledge of Comcast's products and services as well as sales process experience to maximize sales and effectively work the assigned territory.

Job Description

Signing bonus: Valued at $3,000, paid in two installments: $1,500 after 180 days of employment, and $1,500 after one year. Bonus is payable only if the employee remains in good standing through each payment date. Only candidates hired externally are eligible during the offer period.

Salary: $83,000 annually (base + commission)

Core Responsibilities

• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Comcast products, promoting and selling to individual customers by knocking doors within the assigned territory. Maintains current knowledge of features, benefits, pricing, and campaigns for video, internet, voice, and XFINITY Home.
• Communicates effectively and builds rapport with customers. Evaluates customer needs and makes tailored recommendations. Explains Comcast products and pricing, highlighting competitive advantages.
• Possesses expert sales knowledge relevant to the position’s experience requirements.
• Creates and executes turf management plans independently, using experience-based sales techniques.
• Shows confidence in selling ability and manages time and organization effectively.
• Meets and exceeds sales goals; organizes daily activities; generates leads through approved methods; employs effective closing techniques.
• Has a successful track record in residential canvassing sales, especially B2C.
• Displays thorough understanding of the products and strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Demonstrates technical capability (computer skills, billing systems, databases).
• Meets physical requirements, including door-to-door travel in various weather conditions.
• Obtains and maintains necessary credentials/licenses for alarm systems, if applicable.
• Exercises independent judgment and discretion.
• Maintains punctuality, works nights/weekends/overtime as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
