Comcast in Woodbridge, CT is seeking a Retail Sales Consultant to engage customers, explain product features, and promote Comcast/Xfinity services while delivering excellent service. You will handle billing questions, process service changes, and drive sales with a customer-first mindset, including uncapped commissions and competitive benefits.

Base pay with targets, on-the-job training, and opportunities for career growth are offered in a store environment emphasizing teamwork and inclusion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers with enthusiasm and explain product features to enhance shopping experience.

Job Description

• Engaging customers with enthusiasm, demonstrating and explaining product features to enhance their shopping experience.
• Providing outstanding customer service with all customer interactions.
• Meeting or exceeding sales targets and enhancing customer satisfaction through diligent follow-up and service excellence.
• Helping customers interpret and clarify their account statements and pay their bills in the store.
• Answering any questions customers have on current or new services, making changes to account data, upgrading levels of service, and processing all general service requests.
• Acting as brand ambassador to promote Comcast/Xfinity products.
• Providing expert-level understanding and passion around technology, especially around Comcast products and services.
• Maintaining detailed sales product knowledge, including competitive information.
• Contributing to a fun and competitive environment!
• Adhering to retail operational policies and procedures, ensuring a consistent and professional store environment.

What you will need to have

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Adjusting to a flexible work schedule to meet retail operational needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary

• Ability to carry and/or lift 25-pound boxes, and the ability to move around the store constantly

Compensation

Base Pay: $18.00

Total Target Compensation (Base Pay plus Targeted Commission): $25.69

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
