Job summary

RTX's Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) Finance team seeks a Financial Analyst to support the Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) and Electro-Optical Infrared Solutions (EO/IRS) businesses in McKinney, TX. You will handle cost/schedule control, EAC, variance analysis and reporting for a set of programs.

The role requires a university degree (or equivalent) with 2 years of relevant experience, SAP and Excel proficiency, and a hybrid work arrangement in a U.S. manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience, or an Advanced Degree.
  • Experience using SAP business systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

  • Cost/schedule control and analysis, forecasting, estimate-at-completion, and variance analysis for assigned programs.
  • Collaborate with Program Manager, CAMs/IPTLs, Material PMs, and PMO/Finance.
  • Drive finance processes to ensure adherence to EVM policies and BOM traceability.
  • Identify risks affecting cost or schedule and provide proactive analysis.
  • Perform additional ad-hoc financial analyses as required.

The Raytheon Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) Finance organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to support our Advanced Products & Solutions (APS), Electro-Optical Infrared Solutions (EO/IRS) businesses. This position will be responsible for the daily business execution and financial activities for a set of programs mainly produced out of the McKinney Consolidated Manufacturing Center.

What You Will Do
  • Cost/schedule control and analysis, forecasting, estimate-at-completion (EAC), variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting for a set of assigned programs.
  • Frequent collaboration with the Program Manager, and CAM’s/IPTLs, Material Program Managers, and Mission Area PMO/Finance.
  • Personal involvement in the successful execution of contracts.
  • Drive the finance process for a set of programs to influence processes related to EVM policies and procedures and ensure we adhere to them with regards to BOM traceability, production labor, and production support labor.
  • Actively identifying risks that affect cost and/or schedule and providing proactive analysis of all financial aspects of the projects.
  • Performance of additional ad-hoc analysis will be required as well.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Experience using SAP business systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience using PRISM EV (Preferred)
  • Interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, etc.) in program development and execution
  • Excellent organizational skills in leading/coordinating program personnel toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working within deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills to support the preparation and presentation of written briefs and summaries to customer, organization, and peers
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and achieve results
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize required systems/tools and independently create and accurately analyze data
Hybrid Role Definition
