This Senior Development Underwriter role is home-based, with the company's Head Office in London. You will enjoy a high degree of autonomy and support from senior management to maximize your success.

We are looking for 2 underwriters based around Bristol and Southampton.

The role involves inheriting and developing an existing portfolio of insurance intermediaries, focusing on new business development through current and new broker partners, including underperforming ones needing support.

Requirements include previous commercial insurance experience and comfort working towards sales targets.

Key responsibilities:

1. Build relationships with key brokers to increase new business activity.
2. Review and underwrite new business quotations across all products within our underwriting appetite.
3. Conduct broker visits and underwriting surgeries to boost brand awareness.
4. Serve as an escalation point for key brokers.
5. Collaborate with the Technical Underwriting Team and stakeholders.
6. Maintain communication with Business Development Managers and Regional Directors.
7. Act as a referral point within the underwriting team.
8. Proactively improve work processes and support corporate goals.
9. Work from home with occasional visits to London Office.

Salary: £50K to £65K, plus a generous bonus and excellent staff benefits.
