Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years exempt experience; Master's degree and 4 years exempt experience.

• High school and 5 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
• Graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School
• 6 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience as an equivalent total experience

The Role

Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of exempt experience; Master's degree and 4 year of exempt experience

One of the following may be used as equivalent to a bachelor's degree to meet minimum qualifications:

• NNS Apprentice School graduate


• High school and 5 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience


• Graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School

The following may be used as equivalent to the number of exempt years of experience required, in addition to the education requirement above: 6 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience

Nice to Have

• Good oral/written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with trainees, team members and Leadership.


• Welding experience. Preferably tig(pipe) and semi auto processes.


• UT welding experience


• Ability to lead people and manage day to day tasks with minimum oversite.


• Maintain a high level of professionalism.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
