Job summary

AltaPointe Health Systems seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray exams per orders and protocols. You will train staff, assess competency, and ensure imaging standards and safety. You will operate imaging systems and assist with ultrasound as needed, keeping EMR documentation up to date.

Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and the clinical team, you will promote high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance and safety throughout imaging procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be eligible for ARRT Radiography certification at hire and obtain registration within six months.
• Knowledge of digital radiography, radiation safety and patient positioning.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Provide training and consultation to personnel who perform X-rays.
• Assess and validate staff competency.
• Ensure adherence to imaging standards and radiation safety practices.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to provide efficient, high-quality patient care.
