Akumin is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Tech) at our Baldwin Park facility in Orlando, FL. This full-time position focuses on producing high-quality diagnostic X-ray images with strict adherence to radiation safety and documentation standards.

The role requires ARRT(R) and state licensure where applicable, CPR, and a willingness to travel locally. Training of colleagues and equipment troubleshooting may be involved, with a strong emphasis on customer communication and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Radiology School preferred.
• ARRT (R) certification and state license, if applicable.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid state driver''s license may be required.
• One year radiography/digital x-ray experience preferred for mobile settings.
• Local travel may be required.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

Responsabilités

• Produces high quality diagnostic x-ray images with attention to radiation safety and proper documentation.
• Pre-screens patients for contra-indications and maintains aseptic technique.
• Communicates effectively with customers and radiologists.
• May train new Radiologic Technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.
• Troubleshoots X-ray unit and peripheral equipment (including PACS).
