Job summary

South Shore Orthopedics is hiring an X-Ray Technologist (RT) to join our fast-paced orthopedic practice in Hingham, MA. You will produce high-quality diagnostic X-ray images, prepare imaging for surgical cases, and assist patients throughout their visit in collaboration with physicians.

Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT certification (or eligible) and MA licensure if required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification (or eligible).
• Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license (if required).

Responsibilities

• Producing high-quality diagnostic X-ray images.
• Preparing and organizing imaging for surgical cases.
• Assisting, instructing, and escorting patients throughout their visit.
• Monitoring patient flow to ensure an efficient clinic experience.
• Working closely with physicians during procedures, including assisting with dressing and cast removal as directed.
• Supporting fellow clinical staff as needed.
• Identifying opportunities to improve workflow and patient experience.
• Maintaining accurate documentation within the EMR.
