Job summary

MedLeadCareers in Monroe, NY seeks a motivated X-Ray Technician who can also assist with Medical Assistant duties in a busy multi-specialty practice. This full-time role requires a valid X-ray certification and a patient-focused approach to imaging and front-line clinical tasks.

You will perform imaging, prepare patients, take vital signs, room patients, update charts, and support providers while maintaining HIPAA and infection-control standards in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Active X-ray technician certification is required.
• Experience in a medical office, urgent care, or outpatient setting preferred.
• Ability to assist with Medical Assistant responsibilities when needed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray imaging in accordance with provider orders and clinical protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process.
• Ensure proper imaging quality and patient safety.
• Assist with Medical Assistant duties as needed, including: Rooming patients, Taking vital signs, Updating patient charts, Assisting providers with exams and procedures.
• Basic clinical support and patient intake.
• Maintain equipment and report any issues appropriately.
• Follow HIPAA, safety, and infection control procedures.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and support staff.
