Job summary

ORTHOPEDICS RHODE ISLAND INC. is seeking an experienced X-ray technologist for a per diem role in Warwick, RI. The position involves operating X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment to assist radiologists in diagnosis and treatment, with shifts that run 8AM–8PM and varied hours.

Ideal candidates hold an associate’s degree in radiologic technology, 1–3 years of experience, and RI X-ray license; ARRT registration is preferred. Competitive compensation and generous PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in radiological technology from an accredited X-ray program.
• 1–3 years of experience as an X-ray technologist, preferably in a medical practice.
• RI X-Ray Tech License required; ARRT registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures.
• Operates X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment per physicians' requests.
• Protects patients, self, and staff from radiation hazards.
• Maintains records, daily logs, and monthly reports.
• Performs quality and safety checks on radiographic equipment.
