Job summary

Akumin is hiring a Radiology Technologist at our Zephyrhills facility for a full-time position. The role focuses on producing high-quality X-ray images while adhering to radiation safety standards and documentation. You will interact with radiologists and may assist in training new technologists and coordinators.

Requirements include ARRT (R) and state license where applicable, CPR certification, and a High School Diploma with an Associate's Degree preferred. Travel between sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• ARRT (R) and state license, if applicable.
• CPR certification required.
• Valid state driver’s license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic x-ray images.
• Maintain radiation safety and proper documentation.
• Ensure patient safety with pre-screening and aseptic technique.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
• Assist training of new Radiologic Technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.
• Troubleshoot the X-ray unit and peripheral equipment.
