Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health System in Dunn, North Carolina, is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures for diagnostic purposes in the Radiology department. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures, addressing questions.
• Position patients to obtain proper images while minimizing discomfort.
• Maintain privacy and safety per Radiation Protection Plan and department guidelines.
• Record exam start/end times accurately in the RIS.
• Ensure appropriate shielding, dosimeter use, and infection control.
• Support QA by verifying image quality and annotations before radiologist review.
• Submit work orders for equipment malfunctions and coordinate with Clinical Technology Services.
