Location

Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA.

Sign-On Bonus

Up to $5000.00 (prorated based on hours worked per week/FTE) with a 2-year commitment. External and internal eligible candidates only.

Shifts Available

• Full time, 3rd shift, hours between 10:30pm-7:00am, every other weekend, 2-3 holidays/year, on-call rotation.
• Full time, 2nd shift, evenings between 2:00pm-7:00am, nights as needed, every other weekend, 2-3 holidays/year, on-call rotation.
• Part time (20 hrs/week), 2nd shift, evenings between 2:00pm-11:00pm, every other weekend, 2-3 holidays/year, on-call rotation.
• Part time (20 hrs/week), weekends only, every other Friday, evenings 2:00pm-11:00pm, every other weekend, 2-3 holidays/year, on-call rotation.

Position Summary

Performs routine diagnostic radiographic procedures, including patient positioning, technique selection, and use of immobilization and radiation protection devices.

Essential Functions

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures as per protocols.
• Receives and reviews requests, consults with Radiologists as needed.
• Greet patients, confirm identities, explain procedures.
• Operates hospital computer systems, documents in electronic medical records.
• Completes examinations, billing, and other paperwork, performs POC testing, and follows protocols.
• Utilizes all computer equipment appropriately.
• May require travel to various sites.

Secondary Functions

• Performs safety inspections, maintains equipment, participates in quality control.
• Complies with safety regulations.
• Maintains inventory supplies.
• Participates in clinical education and on-call duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA-approved Radiological Technology School.
• Certification by ARRT within 18 months of hire (before 1/01/2024) or 12 months (after 1/01/2024).
• CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of clinical experience beyond training.
