Hours: Full-Time; Varying shifts: Monday-Friday: 8:00 am–8:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Perform excellent radiographs with minimal repeat films in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate data with films.
• Provide friendly professional demeanor and work well with all types of patients.
• Check orders, organize paperwork, and present to the radiologist professionally.
• Verify all information and inform appropriate personnel of needed supplies, keeping rooms stocked and cleaned.
• Obtain accurate phone reports and relay messages.
• Perform EKGs.
• Run own films and utilize PAC/RIS as needed.
• Offer assistance with other duties as needed or requested, using initiative.
• Merge previous images into PAC.
• Scan previous reports and outside orders into the RIS.
• Call inside and outside sites to locate prior exams.
• Punt idle time productively in other areas.
• Demonstrate computer systems knowledge and proficiency required.
• Adhere to The South Bend Clinic Service Standards, HIPAA guidelines, and clinic policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification/License: ARRT Registered Technologist, Radiologic Technologist license in the State of Indiana.
• Good knowledge of general radiology procedures.
• Proficient in computers and digital radiography systems, including RIS and PACS.
• Friendly, attentive, helpful, and show concern for others.
• Positive attitude/outlook.
