Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT Certification is required.
• Current Pennsylvania license or permit to practice medical imaging.
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions.
• Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns.
• Position patients using immobilization devices as needed.
• Monitor, record and communicate using computerized documentation systems.
• Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
• Provide a safe environment for administering contrast material.
• Follow Standard Precautions with required PPE.
