Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiography.
• 4+ years of radiologic technologist experience.
• ARRT RT(R) certification and BLS within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray imaging including general radiography, fluoroscopy, and intra-op imaging.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure safety and comfort.
• Review patient charts to verify orders and rationale for exams.
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment per protocol to achieve diagnostic quality.
• Administer contrast under radiologist supervision when applicable.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and adhere to ALARA guidelines.
