Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program and current radiographer certification/registration.
• Experience operating fixed and portable radiographic equipment to perform exams.
• Ability to position patients and adjust technical factors to obtain diagnostic images.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex radiographic examinations using fixed and portable equipment.
• Position patients and select factors to obtain high-quality images.
• Explain procedures and ensure radiation safety for patients.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain radiographic equipment and report malfunctions.
• Maintain radiology records and participate in QA and infection control activities.
