Job summary

Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care Radiologic Technologist role involves performing diagnostic radiographs, ensuring patient safety, and supporting providers across our urgent care centers. The technician will handle x-ray procedures from newborns to the elderly, maintain records, and uphold ALARA practices.

You will work with clinicians and medical assistants in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required; Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS, ARRT registration; state radiologic licensure if applicable
• Work experience: clinical setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for x-ray services under provider direction
• Prepare patients and perform radiographic procedures for all age groups
• Maintain records, quality assurance logs, and equipment calibration
• Ensure radiation safety and ALARA adherence during imaging
• Provide patient information and support to the care team
• Collaborate with providers and medical assistants for patient care management
