Job summary

Desert Radiology Solutions, LLC in Las Vegas, NV, seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic exams and document imaging studies using RIS, Synapse and PACS. You will ensure patient safety, adhere to QA standards, and collaborate with clinicians in an outpatient imaging environment.

Qualifications

• Education – Graduate of recognized AMA Council of Education program in radiologic technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Certification as Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) by the State Medical Board.
• Current CPR and AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic examinations proficiently following established protocols for patient positioning and technique.
• Uses RIS, Synapse, and PACS to document, verify, code, and transmit imaging studies and required records.
• Ensures patient safety and quality care by verifying identity/orders, assessing conditions, applying radiation protection standards, and adjusting factors accordingly.
• Maintains compliance with QA standards through accurate documentation, QA/QC monitoring, and review of imaging quality and workflow.
