Job summary

Southlake Orthopaedics is seeking X-ray Technologists for full-time, part-time and PRN roles in a fast-paced orthopaedic practice. You will triage patients, perform outpatient orthopaedic x-rays, and support wound care and imaging workflows.

Ideal candidates hold a 2-year associate degree in Radiology, an RT (R) license is preferred, and you should be proficient with EHRs and customer service. A pre-employment background check and drug test are required.

Qualifications

• Healthcare field and medical terminology knowledge required.
• Knowledge of EHRs and imaging workflows.
• Orthopaedics experience preferred but not required.

Southlake Orthopaedics, a premier Orthopaedic practice with two Birmingham locations, is recruiting X-ray Technologists!

Responsibilities

• Triage patients
• Preform outpatient orthopaedic x-rays
• Assist in wound care of patients
• Importing images, create office notes, and billing in EHR
• Help maintain cleanliness of work environment

Experience

• Healthcare field and medical specialty
• Medical terminology
• Knowledge of EHRs
• Orthopaedics experience (preferred but not required
• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
• Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow

Education

• Minimum of 2-year associates degree in Radiology
• Current RT (R) license preferred
