Job summary

Southlake Orthopaedics in Hoover, AL, is seeking X-ray Technologists for full-time, part-time, and PRN positions. Responsibilities include triaging patients, performing outpatient orthopaedic x-rays, assisting in wound care, importing images, creating office notes and billing in the EHR, and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year associate degree in Radiology.
• Current RT (R) license preferred.
• Healthcare knowledge and familiarity with orthopaedics.
• Strong customer service and phone etiquette.
• Ability to maintain organized systems for timely patient flow.

Full or Part time (including PRN) positions available! Southlake Orthopaedics, a premier Orthopaedic practice with two Birmingham locations, is recruiting X-ray Technologists!

Responsibilities

• Triage patients
• Preform outpatient orthopaedic x-rays
• Assist in wound care of patients
• Importing images, create office notes, and billing in EHR
• Help maintain cleanliness of work environment

Experience

• Healthcare field and medical specialty
• Medical terminology
• Knowledge of EHRs
• Orthopaedics experience (preferred but not required
• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
• Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow

Education

• Minimum of 2-year associates degree in Radiology
• Current RT (R) license preferred
