Job Responsibilities
- Perform satisfactory radiographic procedures as requested by physicians.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, producing quality radiographs.
- Assist patients by lifting and transporting via wheelchair or stretcher.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Reduce patient anxiety by explaining procedures and answering questions.
- Prepare patients for radiographic procedures with proper dressing, positioning, and equipment setup.
- Practice radiation safety by using protective techniques and devices.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Certificate or degree in radiologic technology required.
- State of Tennessee X-ray Operators License required.
Qualifications and Experience
- ARRT certification required.
- Orthopedic X-ray experience preferred.
- C-Arm experience a plus.
Additional Details
- Willingness to float to other TOA locations as needed.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, with possible rotating shifts 6 days on, 6 days off.
