Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiology procedures.
• Take X-rays following physician protocols and patient safety standards.
• Use radiation protection and shielding materials.
• Ensure equipment is in working order and report malfunctions.
• Log radiology procedures and process related paperwork.
• Maintain examination and stock rooms; manage supplies.
• Assist facility manager with clinic inventory and supply orders.
• Perform quality controls and assist in maintaining lab equipment.

Our X-Ray Department is looking for a PRN person to handle the duties of preparing patients for radiology procedures. Taking x-rays following established physician protocols and procedures for patient care and safety. Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials. Ensures equipment is in working order. Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor. Logs radiology procedures completed. Processes related paperwork using computer equipment as directed. Maintains examination and stock rooms. Stocks necessary medical and radiology supplies. Assist facility manager with clinic inventory and supply ordering. Performs quality controls and assists in maintaining the lab equipment.

Join a team on a PRN basis. We have the opportunity based within our OSMC clinic setting. The clinic-based position will be primarily located at our Elkhart California Road corporate office; however, the ideal candidate must be willing to travel between OSMC locations, including Elkhart, Goshen, Granger, Nappanee, and Middlebury. Travel to other offices IS required. Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program. Current Indiana license as a Radiologic Technologist.
