Purpose of Job

We seek a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician passionate about patient care and diagnostic excellence. You will perform high-quality X-ray and DEXA examinations, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis. Collaborating with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare professionals, you will deliver comprehensive patient care.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray and DEXA examinations following protocols, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist with CT calcium score exams (training provided).
• Support MRI and CT exam setup, cleanup, and patient care.
• Prepare and present patient results.
• Position patients and utilize protective measures during imaging.
• Review images with radiologists for accurate diagnosis.
• Maintain detailed patient records.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines.
• Stay updated with imaging techniques and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, addressing concerns and providing instructions.

Qualifications

• Valid X-ray Technician certification from an accredited program.
• State licensure in California (or eligibility).
• Experience operating X-ray equipment.
• Knowledge of radiographic techniques and patient positioning.
• Commitment to patient safety and care.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Willingness to undergo cross-training in CT and MRI.
• Adaptability to new technologies.
