Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Naperville, IL is seeking an X-Ray Tech for a full-time 40-hour-per-week position with varied hours: Monday–Friday 7:00am–8:00pm and rotating every fifth weekend, plus holidays and travel as needed.

You will join a collaborative, physician-led team that puts patients at the center of care, supported by a network across imaging, labs and services to deliver high-quality, coordinated care while growing your skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• AART registration or eligible.
• CPR certification.
• 6 months to 2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce radiographs as directed by Radiologist.
• Position patient on examining table and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum view.
• Explain procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
• Move x-ray equipment into specified positions and set exposure factors (time, distance).
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patient and staff.
• Report to lead technologist for work assignments and maintain department workflow (evenings/holidays).
