Job Duties:

• Assists in overseeing physical maintenance of the Radiologydepartment including equipment.
• Responsible for keeping current on the use of the computer systemsused in the BMC Radiology department.
• Performs the duties as a BMC X-ray Technician.
• Maintains effective working relationships within the Radiologydepartment and with other BMC departments to ensure on-going communication.
• Consistently checks each morning that QC tests have been run onthe appropriate x-ray system(s) and processors.
• Assists in maintaining adequate stock of supplies by coordinatingwith the BMC purchasing department and the departmental site-manager.

Experience and Skills

• Good judgement on supply needs/stocking. Equipment maintenance needs.
• Good Radiographic skills.
• Good understanding of ICD-9 coding and billing procedures.

Education:

• Graduate of Accredited School of Radiologic Technologists.
• Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Previous Experience:

• 1+ years Radiology Technologist experience
• Experience in Orthopedics and/or Pediatrics
• Equipment Maintenance
• Ordering and maintaining supplies

The starting hourly pay range for this position iscommensurate with experience:

• $30.45 - $39.59/hour

This position will be posted for a minimum of three days,subsequently until filled.
