Job summary

ProActive Work Health Services in Texas is seeking a dependable X-Ray Technician to join our occupational medicine team. The technician will perform routine diagnostic X-rays for patients with work-related injuries and assist providers with patient care.

You will position patients, obtain quality images, and upload X-ray data into the EMR while maintaining equipment and following radiation safety protocols. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Texas NCT registration or Texas LMRT certification preferred.
• Previous X-ray experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of anatomy, patient positioning and radiation safety.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced medical clinic.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray examinations as ordered by providers and within scope of practice.
• Position patients and obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Upload X-ray images into the EMR.
• Maintain and clean X-ray equipment and imaging areas.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and patient privacy requirements.
• Assist providers and clinical staff with patient care and clinic operations.
