Job summary

ProActive Work Health Services in Texas is seeking a dependable X-Ray Technician to join our occupational medicine team. The technician will perform routine diagnostic X-rays for patients with work-related injuries and assist providers with patient care.

You will position patients, obtain quality images, and upload X-ray data into the EMR while maintaining equipment and following radiation safety protocols. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Texas NCT registration or Texas LMRT certification preferred.
• Previous X-ray experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of anatomy, patient positioning and radiation safety.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced medical clinic.

Responsibilities

Perform X-ray examinations as ordered by providers and within authorized scope of practice.

Position patients and obtain quality diagnostic images.

Upload X-ray images into the patient's electronic medical record (EMR).

Maintain and clean X-ray equipment and imaging areas.

Follow radiation safety procedures and patient privacy requirements.

Assist providers and clinical staff with patient care and clinic operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Active Texas NCT registration or Texas LMRT certification.

Previous X-ray experience preferred.

Knowledge of basic anatomy, patient positioning, and radiation safety.

Preferred Experience
